Opened in the Spring of 1988, Pine Creek Golf Club is one of the finest public golf course in Colorado Springs and is consistently ranked among the top ten public courses in Colorado. Designed by noted golf course architect Richard Phelps, this 18 hole championship course is both physically and mentally demanding. It offers two to five tee boxes per hole, and ranges from a front-tee length of 5,314 yards to over 7,194 yards for the professional tees. Constructed on 200 acres winding through the Pine Creek Valley, the course features natural grasslands and wandering creek beds that come into play on 15 of the 18 holes. On the front nine, you'll be challenged by the canyon-style course, while the back nine features an American-style links course. Ranch Creek Elementary School at Wolf Ranch

Ranch Creek Elementary School Students of the Wolf Ranch community attend the award-winning Academy School District 20. Choices include neighborhood schools, charter schools, private academies and specialized studies. Wolf Ranch has designated sites for future neighborhood schools. Ranch Creek Elementary is located on Tutt Boulevard between Wolf Village Drive and Leon Young Drive.Academy School District 20 offers a CHOICE program for placement of students, but Ranch Creek Elementary School will be the neighborhood school for all elementary school students who live in Wolf Ranch. For more information about the CHOICE program and options, visit the Academy School District 20 web site and search for “choice” to access the most current information.

Ranch Creek Elementary School is a neighborhood school and is scheduled to begin instruction on August 13, 2007. The school will offer: Research-based instruction and curriculum; Emphasis on literacy, good writing, math and technology; A full-time gifted and talented teacher will be on staff; and The school is building a quality team of educators and they will also share an assistant principal and media director with another elementary school which will permit more opportunity to share in some appropriate programming. Amenities - There will be a state-of-the-art library/media center that will be built to meet the Colorado Department of Education Certified Power Library certification. That certification takes about 3 years to achieve. The library/media center will offer an open door at least one night a month and adult learning opportunities are also being considered as part of the program. Additional Offerings - The school will offer a blended pre-school program that will be a combination of special needs students and about 10 peer students and the program will have a low student-to-staff ratio. The details for the pre-school will be available through the Pre-school Office at D-20. See “Fees” below for the costs.There will be a half-day and full-day kindergarten program and the full-day will be a fee-based program. Details will be shared at a later date. Fees – Costs for pre-school and full-day kindergarten will be depending on the number of sessions the student attends each week.

Ranch Creek Elementary School Pre-school registration will begin January 6, 2007. Any students currently enrolled in a D-20 preschool program and residents of the Wolf Ranch community will have preferential placement. There is a $40 non-refundable registration fee. Tuition for preschool is $125 per month for two half-days per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday); $200 per month for four half-days per week (Monday – Thursday); or $300 per month (five hours Monday-Thursday and two and a half hours on Friday). Kindergarten Round-Up (registration) for Ranch Creek Elementary School will be at the Education and Administration Center at 1110 Chapel Hills Drive on January 30, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. all day. Kindergarten tuition is $1,800 for the school year and a $100 deposit is required at registration. This information may not apply to half-day kindergarten, so verify details with the school district.

gateway pavillion Wolf Ranch opened its first neighborhood park in 2005 in Westcreek, which includes playground equipment, picnic tables, seating and in-line roller hockey/basketball court. The plans for over 300 acres of parks and open space, and 10 miles of trails for hiking and biking will be developed concurrent with each phase of the community. The first of two community entry parks, Gateway Park at Wolf Ranch, was completed in summer of 2006 and is located at Research Parkway and Tutt Boulevard. Amenities include a small pond, waterfall, entertainment and picnic pavilion and the park is a community gathering center for concerts and a variety of social activities for the Wolf Ranch residents. Another recreation amenity planned for approximately 2010 is a 14-acre lake and it will offer a variety of opportunities. The lake and town center of Wolf Ranch will be the centerpiece of the community, when complete.

Cordera is Briargate's newest amenity-rich residential community located off 1-25 and Briargate Parkway, just east of Powers. Part of the original Briargate Master Plan, Cordera represents the third major residential phase of Briargate project build-out. Cordera is a new community that epitomizes the Colorado Springs lifestyle with spectacular views of the Black Forest and Pikes Peak and equally spectacular homes from Colorado’s finest homebuilders. There is also an extensive 4.5 mile inter-linking trail system, four wonderfully-themed neighborhood parks, and plans soon for an amenity-packed Community Center featuring a pool and splash area. Cordera is a comfortable, visually appealing place to live.
