East Colorado Springs Area Guide

The East Colorado Springs MLS area is a moderately priced area of homes built in the 1960's and 1970's. It is located east of the downtown (Central) area, generally south of Austin Bluffs Parkway and north of Platte Avenue. The East area encompasses Palmer Park, and the busy retail corridor, including Citadel Mall, along Academy Boulevard.

Village Seven is the name of a larger development in the East MLS area, located south of Constitution Ave. and from the vicinity of South Carefree Circle northwards. Village Seven homes are priced generally from $150,000 to $250,000, with most homes in the $175,000 to $200,000 range. These homes were built from 1968 to 1985, and vary in size from 1400 to 2500 total square feet.

Villa Loma is a home community located between Oro Blanco Drive and Rio Vista Drive, south of S. Carefree Circle and north of Constitution Avenue. Villa Loma homes are priced from $160,000 to $250,000, with many in the $175,000 to $225,000 range.
